PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Penn women's squash team concluded a busy week of action Sunday afternoon, defeating Brown 9-0 at the Bears' Brodsky Squash Pavilion.
The fifth-ranked Quakers ended a three-match weekend with a 2-1 record, and improved to 4-1 on the young season. Brown entered the weekend ranked 10th nationally.
All of Penn's wins came in three games.
Penn is off for the remainder of the 2010 calendar year. The Quakers will return to match action on Saturday, Jan. 15 when they host Williams College at the Ringe Squash Courts.
