PHILADELPHIA - For the second time in two weeks, the Women's Squash team will play host to a Top 10 team as No. 3 Trinity comes to Ringe Courts on Saturday at noon. The Quakers (5-1) are currently riding a three-match winning streak after their defeat of No. 9 Williams a week ago. Trinity (6-1) comes into the match this weekend after suffering its first defeat of the season a week ago versus Yale.

If previous years are any indication, every match will be extremely tight and equally important. In the non-conference portion of the schedule of year ago, Trinity got the better of the Quakers winning the first contest 5-4. The Quakers would get their revenge in the Howe Cup semi-finals, turning the 5-4 decision in their favor and advancing to the finals.

So far this season the Quakers and Trinity have two common opponents, with each team owning victories over Bates and Williams. Trinity beat Williams and Bates by an identical 6-3 final. The Quakers swept Bates 9-0 in the second to last competition of the fall and then handled Williams 8-1 this past weekend.

The Quakers bring four players into action this weekend that are currently undefeated. Rachael Goh, Yarden Odinak, Annie Madeira, and Hyland Murphy all come into this weekend at 6-0. Trinity brings in its own quartet of undefeated players as Alicia Rodriquez (7-0), Catalina Palaez (7-0), Pamela Jimenez (5-0), and Pamela Hathway (2-0) each have yet to lose a match. Both Squads currently have nine players who are ranked nationally. Each team has three members each in the national top 20.
