HANOVER, N.H. – A six-week break from competition did not slow down the third-ranked University of Pennsylvania women’s squash team, as the Quakers defeated No. 8 Dartmouth on Saturday, 9-0.

Penn (4-0, 1-0 Ivy) continued its strong play throughout the ladder and welcomed the addition of freshman Anaka Alankamony in the No. 1 position. The Quakers only relinquished one individual game the entire afternoon.

Penn has now won 11 straight matches against Dartmouth (1-2, 0-2 Ivy), and will turn its attention to No. 1 Harvard.

“The women came out strong and fast and didn't let up earning a 9-0 win, said Head Coach Jack Wyant.

“They are excited about playing top-ranked Harvard tomorrow.”

The Quakers will square off against the Crimson Sunday at noon in Cambridge, Mass.
