PHILADELPHIA - The No. 16 heavyweight rowing team looks to get back in the win column Saturday with the Blackwell Cup on the line against No. 10 Yale and No. 11 Columbia on the Housatonic River in Derby, Conn.

Saturday will mark the 80th time the Blackwell Cup has been contested, with Yale holding 40 wins in the event to Penn's 34 and Columbia's five. The Bulldogs won the 2010 edition on the Schuylkill with a time of 5:41.3, ahead of Columbia's 5:43.8 and Penn's 5:57.8. On Saturday, the Red and Blue will be looking for their first win in the Blackwell Cup since the 2002 race - a win by just seven-tenths of a second over Yale on the Housatonic. That win was the last of four consecutive and five in six years for the Penn crew.

The Quakers and Lions have already met in Cup race action this spring, with the two crews finishing behind Princeton in the Childs Cup last weekend in Philly. In that race, the Quakers finished 8.6 seconds behind the second-place Lions and will be looking to close the gap this weekend.

There will be a full day of racing on the Housatonic on Saturday as Penn's lightweights will be competing against Yale in the Dodge Cup in addition to women's races not involving Penn. The heavyweight schedule is as follows:

9:45 am - 1V HWT Blackwell Cup
10:15 am - 2V HWT
10:45 am - 1F HWT
11:15 am - 3V HWT
11:45 am - 2F / 4V HWT - Fours
