Heavyweight Rowing Downed in Madeira Cup by Cornell

PHILADELPHIA - On the final weekend of Cup racing before heading to the IRA Championships on June 2, the heavyweight rowing team hosted Cornell on the Schuylkill and the No. 8 Big Red took all five races over the No. 16 Quakers to win the Madeira Cup. The win gives Cornell four in a row over the Red and Blue in the 55 races in the series. Overall, Penn maintains its lead over the Big Red, 35 wins to 20.
