College Park, Md. - The Quakers won one event and had numerous top-three finishes on Saturday at the Terp Invite on the campus of the University of Maryland.
Junior Brett Gomes had the top finish of the evening for the Red and Blue, winning the 50-yard free with his time of 20.62, just .02 off her personal best set last year. Freshman Paul Maneri finished behind him in fifth with a time of 21.41
In the finals of the 200-yard breast, freshman Will Hartje was the third swimmer to finish with his time of 2:07.38. Classmate Michael Lin did him one better in the 100-yard backstroke, taking second with a personal-best 52.75.
The Quakers return to action in three weeks, when they travel to Harvard for the Ivy League Championships, Mar. 3-5.
