PHILADELPHIA - The men's swimming team will put its nearly two-month unbeaten streak on the line Saturday, facing Ivy opponents Yale and Dartmouth at the Karl Michael Pool in Hanover, N.H. Penn has been downed only twice this season, in the season opener to Columbia in a meet that came down to the result of the final relay, and to Princeton on Nov. 18. Since then, the Quakers have beaten seven consecutive opponents.

Penn has claimed wins over the Bulldogs and Big Green in this meet for each of the past two seasons. Last year, the Quakers bowled over Dartmouth by a score of 177-123, and squeaked past Yale 153-147 in a nailbiter that wasn't decided until the result of the 400 Freestyle Relay, an event that the Red and Blue 'A' team won by .75 over their Bulldog counterparts. Brendan McHugh, Rhoads Worster and Jeff Cragg all won multiple events on the day.

The Quakers will be challenged by a Yale team that has yet to lose this season. The Bulldogs blasted Columbia a day after the Lions faced Penn, defeating them 178-122. They then rolled to the team title at the Boston University Terrier Invitational, besting the likes of Boston College. Dual meet victories over UMass and Cornell have since followed.

Dartmouth has had a much lighter load early on in the season than either Penn or Yale. The Big Green have faced only three Ivy opponents - Harvard, Cornell and Brown - before taking a training trip to Hawaii last month. They were successful in knocking off Cornell and Brown to bring a 2-1 mark into Saturday's meet.

The men's meet will commence following the women's meet and is scheduled to begin at approximately 3 p.m.
