PHILADELPHIA - The Penn men's swimming team travels to Harvard's Blodgett Pool this weekend in a rescheduled dual meet following the winter storm that hit the Northeast last week. The Crimson are unbeaten at 8-0 in dual meets on the season, including 6-0 against the rest of the Ivy League. Action will get started at 12 p.m. on Saturday.

Penn posted a 2-0 record two weeks ago with dual meet victories over West Chester and La Salle to up its overall record to 4-5 on the season. With two meets in less than 24 hours, it took a total team effort from the Quakers on each day. All told, 10 different members of the Penn squad posted wins on Saturday at La Salle in individual events, while another six had individual wins on Friday night in the victory over the Golden Rams.

For swimmers such as Chris Swanson, Rhoads Worster and Kyle Yu, Saturday will provide a strong litmus test for next month's Ivy League meet. Swanson has the league's best time in the 1650 Freestyle, the second best time in the 1000 Freestyle and the third best time in the 500 Freestyle. In those last two events, only Harvard swimmers rank ahead of him. In the 1650 Free, a Harvard swimmer has produced a time less than a second behind him.

Worster has top ten times this season in both the 100 and 200 Backstroke, as does Yu in the 100 and 200 Breaststroke. Worster could potentially be going up against five different members of the Crimson who also have top ten times in the backstroke this season. For Yu, Saturday means a potential head-to-head matchup with Chuck Katis, the only Ivy League swimmer this season with two NCAA 'A' times.

Opposite Saturday's meet, select members of the Penn team will compete at the Cavalier Invitational, held Feb. 15-16 at the University of Virginia. The swimmers competing at Harvard will make up the group traveling to Brown in March for the Ivy League Championships.
