Tim Durkin will enter his fourth season with Penn sprint football in 2013, following his appointment to the position in 2010. His main area of concentration is on special teams and scouting.

In just three seasons, his impact has been immediately felt. In the 2012 season, Durkin had five players earn All-CSFL honors for special team. Mike Beamish headlines as a second-team punter, while kickers Michael Bass and Kai Peng, long snapper Danny Reyes, and all-around special teamer Whit Shaw all earned honorable mention honors.

The 2011 season saw Penn honored with the first-team All-CSFL special teams returner, Whit Shaw, while his kicker, Michael Bass, and punter, Mike Beamish, also earned second-team All-CSFL accolades in 2011.

A 2008 graduate, Durkin was a four-time letterwinner and three-year starting wide receiver at Farleigh Dickinson University.

He played two seasons of football at Cinnaminson High School, and received three letters in baseball.

Durkin serves as the offensive coordinator of the 160lb Pop Warner program in Cinnaminson, N.J., where he currently resides.
