Click here for results as they are available The History Penn raced three boats at the EARC Sprints and participated in the third final in the varsity, second varsity and freshman races. In the morning heats, Penn's varsity eight finished fifth in the heat with a time of 6:17.023. Later in the third final, the Quakers rowed a time of 6:28.098 for fourth place. The The second varsity eight was fifth in the heat and clocked a time of 6:32.392. In the third final, Penn was fourth with a time of 6:33.884. Wisconsin, which had been in Penn's heat, won the Grand Final with a time of 6:17.215. The Red and Blue's freshman boat finished sixth in its heat with a time of 6:22.163 and then improved that time to 6:20.447 for fifth in the third final. Harvard won the Grand Final with a time of 5:57.635. Penn’s last top-five finish at Sprints came in 2002, when they came in fourth, clocking at 5:49.6.
