SACRAMENTO, Calif.--The two Penn boats concluded the three-day IRA National Championship Regatta in Sacramento, Saturday. It was the last meet of the season for the Quakers.

Thursday started with the Varsity 8 clocking a time of 6:22.91 in its heat. In the repechage, Penn had its best time of the weekend at 6:11.83. On Friday, Penn finished fourth in its semifinal with a time of 6:15.91. The boat placed second in the fourth final with a time of 6:18.17 for a 20th overall finish.

The 2nd Varsity 8 started the regatta with a heat time of 6:23.10. In the repechage, the Quakers improved to 6:10.63. Saturday's petite final race saw the Quakers shave seconds off their time again to 6:08.11. The boat finished fourth in the race and 10th overall.
