2013: First-team All-Ivy ... Big 5 Player of the Year ... Academic All-Ivy ... Big 5 Player of the Week (3/5) … Tri-captain … Started all 43 games, the only Penn player to do so … Led Penn and the Ivy League with a .382 batting average and .500 on-base percentage, while tying with teammate Mike Vilardo for the most hits in the Ivy League with 55 … Drew a team-high 27 walks … Led the squad with 11 stolen bases in 13 attempts … Tied with Rick Brebner for the team lead in home runs with four … Opened season with a 12-game hitting streak (3/1-16) … Had a 4-for-5 day at the plate with a triple and a walk, scoring two runs at William & Mary (3/2) … Drove in a run as part of a 3-for-4 game at William & Mary (3/3) … Had two hits and reached base four times while hitting his first home run of the season in a win at Winthrop (3/8) … Was 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and run scored at George Washington (3/16) … Blasted a pair of doubles as part of a three-hit day at the plate against Villanova (3/20) … In the opener of a doubleheader at Lafayette, went 4-for-4 with two RBI and four runs scored (3/23) … Continued to torch Lafayette, again going 4-for-4 and ending just a home run short of the cycle in a Liberty Bell Classic quarterfinal victory (3/27) … Homered in the first of two games with Dartmouth and then scored the winning run in walk-off fashion in the second matchup (3/30) … Had two hits, including a home run, as Penn came away with a win at La Salle (4/10) … Doubled and drove in two runs in a win over Princeton (4/13) … Went 3-for-3 with a double and a walk, driving in two and scoring twice in a win at Cornell (4/20).

2012:
Second-team All-Ivy ... Big 5 Player of the Week (4/30) ... Started 39 games in the outfield or as designated hitter ... Led Penn with a .350 batting average and 49 hits, which included an Ivy League-best four triples ... Second on the Quakers with a .404 on-base percentage and a .614 slugging percentage ... Batted in 22 runs while scoring 24 times ... Began year going 2-for-4 with a triple and RBI at Stetson (3/2) ... Went 2-for-5 with a walk and two RBI in 13-2 win over Bowling Green (3/6) ... 3-for-4 with a double and RBI against North Dakota State (3/11) ... Collected two hits and three RBI, including a home run, in home-opener against Temple (3/14) ... Almost single-handedly won Penn its Liberty Bell Classic semifinal at La Salle, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and a home run, driving in four runs and scoring twice (4/3) ... Went a perfect 3-for-3 with a triple, two RBI and two runs scored in 7-0 win at Harvard (4/8) ... In home rematch with La Salle, belted three doubles with a RBI and run scored (4/11) ... Went 3-for-4 with a walk at Princeton (4/15) ... Batted .500 (7-for-14) with six doubles in final series of the season against Columbia (4/27-28).

2011: Appeared in 17 games, making nine starts ... Hit .194, with seven hits in 36 at-bats, and slugged .361 ... Batted .357 with runners in scoring position ... Had five RBI, three runs, two doubles and two triples ... Went 1-for-2 with two runs, a double and two walks against Georgetown (3/13) ... Went 1-for-1 with a two-run triple against Cornell (4/25) ... Had a career-high two hits with a triple, an RBI and a walk (4/29).

2010: Did not appear in any contests.

High School: Four-year letterwinner in baseball, basketball and soccer ... Served as captain of all three sports ... Named honorable mention All-MAPL as a centerfielder in 2006 ... First-team All-MAPL as a catcher in 2008 ... Named first-team All-Area in baseball by the Pottstown Mercury in 2007 and 2008 ... Played on MAPL championship teams in basketball (2008) and soccer (2006, '08) ... Honorable mention All-MAPL in soccer in 2007 and 2008 ... Achieved honor roll or high honor roll status all four years.

Personal: Son of Brenda and Dean Deitrich ... Father is a 1978 graduate of Penn who lettered in football from 1975-77 ... Sister, Lauren, graduated from Bucknell in 2008 after four years as a member of the lacrosse team ... Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
