PHILADELPHIA - The women's swimming team will send a select group to Maryland this weekend for the two-day Terp Invite. Competition is set for Feb. 10-11.
With the Ivy Championships coming up in two weeks, head coach Mike Schnur is using this meet as a tune-up for some members of his squad, as well as a chance to set personal bests for those who will not be placed on the Ivy roster at the end of the month.
The Quakers followed a similar plan last season to great success, concluding the invite with a total of 10 top-four finishes including a victory in the 400 Freestyle Relay. A pair of second place finishes from Becca James and Erica Pangilinan were also among the highlights.
The Ivy Championships begin Feb. 23 and run through Feb. 25, hosted by Harvard.
