PHILADELPHIA-- Mike Bagnoli and Michael D'Angelo led the Alumni team to a 20-0 victory over the 2012 Quakers during the annual Alumni Game. Bagnoli, the 2010 CSFL MVP, rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown while D'Angelo went 11-21 for 142 yards and the other score.
With 10 minutes left, Bagnoli capped a 58 yard drive to put the Alumni on the board first with a 6-0 lead.
After a 20-yard touchdown throw to Michael Stack, D'Angelo and Clark Armatis ('10) connected on a two-point conversion to put the Alumni up 14-0 by halftime. Armatis caught six passes for 74 yards on the day.
Two Santos field goals, 40 and 44 yards respectively, were the only points in the second half as the Alumni cruised to a 21-0 win.
Mike Beamish led the current Quakers with 32 rushing yards and quarterback Nick Longtin, replacing all-time passing leader Todd Busler, went 7-15 for 43 yards and two interceptions.
The Quakers open up the season on the road at Cornell Friday Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. in Ithaca.
