Saturday's Results (pdf)
Princeton, N.J. - The men's tennis team continued its progress through the Princeton Invitational on Saturday, advancing freshman Blaine Willenborg into the finals of the Lenz Draw with a 7-6(4), 6-1 win over Kyle Dawson of Yale. All that lays between Willenborg and a perfect 4-0 start to his collegiate debut is a Sunday match with Columbia's Bert Vancura.
Elsewhere in winner's bracket action, Sylvester Wee fell in the semifinals of the Nassau Draw to Max Schnur of Columbia, 6-4 and 7-5.
On the consolation side, freshman Austin Kaplan rebounded from yesterday's first-round loss to claim the Jadwin Draw consolation championship. Kaplan defeated Georgetown's Dan Khanin (6-1, 6-1), and cruised past Mark Hemy of Fairleigh Dickinson (6-2, 6-1) to secure the title. With a win over Mark Mozer of St. John's (6-7 (6), 6-2, 10-5), Zach Katz earned a berth into the Cordish Draw consolation finals on Sunday as well.
