PHILADELPHIA - Penn heads north just a short trip on Sunday for the Princeton Chase, looking to build on an 11th-place finish in 2011 and two strong performances to begin the 2012-13 season.
Last weekend at the Head of the Charles, the varsity eight rowed to a 12th-palce finish out of 28 boats - its best finish since 2005. Two weeks ago, the varsity rowed to second spot at the Navy Day Regatta, again its best finish under head coach Greg Myhr.
The Quakers will enter 13 different boats in various races on Sunday, including three varsity eights and three novice eights. Penn will also row in fours and pairs in its final full-team competition of the fall season.
