After some early season rebounding struggles, the Penn women's basketball coaches and staff gave the players some extra incentive and promised to run sprints when the Quakers won the rebounding battle. This is the result.

Junior Alyssa Baron had 28 points - the most for any Quaker this season - while sophomore Katy Allen posted her first career double-double and sophomore Kara Bonenberger added 15 points and seven boards in a fast-paced 79-73 home win over Morgan State on Tuesday at The Palestra.

01/03/2013 Women's Basketball Bonds in Iowa
Penn women's basketball spent some of the holiday season at the Iowa State Cyclone Challenge in Ames, Iowa. In between bowling, laser tag and secret santa, the Quakers went 2-0 at the tournament.
Junior Alyssa Baron became the third-fastest Quaker to reach 1,000 career points and the Quakers held off the Explorers, 65-56, Friday to claim their second straight win over La Salle at The Palestra.
