Allen, "For the Most Part," Pleased With Penn's Progress

Last Friday, the Penn men's basketball program began its season-long five-contest homestand auspiciously with an impressive 15-point toppling of then-22nd ranked Cornell. That encouraging triumph, however, has faded fast into the Red and Blue's rearview. An ensuing two-game losing streak now represents a reminder for the Quakers that additional progress is necessary.

Still, with his squad sporting a 3-4 Ivy League record through the first half of the Ancient Eight slate, the interim John R. Rockwell Head Coach of Men's Basketball at Penn is relatively pleased with the team's performance, all the adversity of this campaign considered. In the latest edition of the 'Independence Blue Cross Jerome Allen Show,' the former Quaker speaks about the need for his club to start games stronger, the recent increase in Rob Belcore's offensive output, this Saturday's 4:00 PM EST Alumni Game, and more.
