Allen Thinks Quakers "Headed in Right Direction"

Four games into his term as the interim John R. Rockwell Head Coach of Men's Basketball at Penn, Jerome Allen W'10 has detected signs of progress within his program since it recorded its first triumph of the 2009-2010 campaign on January 6th at University of Maryland-Baltimore County. As the Quakers prepare for their final two non-conference contests, Allen and his staff are striving to translate the club's steadily-growing confidence into positive results on the court.

Wednesday, the Red and Blue battle La Salle, seeking to stop a slide of 11 straight losses in Big 5 competition. In the latest taping of the "Independence Blue Cross Jerome Allen Show," the former Ivy League Player of the Year shares his thoughts on the keys for his team's upcoming tilt, and also reflects on making his home coaching debut against the Temple Owls, led by Fran Dunphy, who recruited Allen to play for Penn.
