Andrzejewski Selected For North/South Game

PHILADELPHIA - Penn senior Craig Andrzejewski has been selected to play in the 68th United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Associations (USILA) North/South Games, which will be played at Harvard Stadium this Friday, May 22, as part of a tripleheader.

The Division III North/South game will be played at 2 p.m., followed by the Division I/II game 4 p.m. The night will be capped off by Major League Lacrosse action, as the Boston Cannons take on the Denver Outlaws at 7:30.

Andrzejewski and the Division I/II South team will be coached by Jim Stagnitta, Head Lacrosse Coach at Rutgers University and assisted by Jason Basso, Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Rutgers University. The Division I/II North team will be coached by Mike Pressler, Head Lacrosse Coach at Bryant University and assisted by Kevin Cassese, Head Lacrosse coach at Lehigh University.

A three-time All-Ivy and 2007 All-America recipient, Andrzejewski finished as Penn’s scoring leader for the third year in a row in 2009, scoring a team-high 24 goals and 35 points. He was second on the squad with 11 assists. In Ivy play, he had eight goals and four assists for a team-leading 12 points. Andrzejewski scored at least two points in four of Penn’s six Ivy games, and overall he had 10 multi-point games on the season. Andrzejewski will graduate with 79 career goals, 62 career assists and 141 career points; he is ninth all-time at Penn in both assists and points, and 12th in career goals.
