HANOVER, N.H. - In day three of the ITA Regionals two players remain standing from the Penn men's tennis team. Mikhail Bekker and Jason Pinsky won their quarterfinal matches to advance to the semi's on Monday.
Bekker defeated Milosz Gudzowski of Yale in straight sets 6-0, 6-2. The three seed Pinsky beat Manhattan's Bodgan Borta6-3, 6-7(4), 6-2. Bekker will meet Mark Barry from Penn State on Monday and Pinksy takes onAlbert Larrygola from Virginia Tech.
In doubles action Pinsky and Joseph Lok defeated Ted Tywang and Andy Clayton of Georgetown 8-4. They will play Malcolm Scatliffe and MichaelJamesof Penn State in the quarterfinals on Monday. The Quakers other doubles team, Bekker and Jonathan Boym fell to Dan Hanegby and Phil Charm of Brown8-3.
