HANOVER, N.H. - In day two of the ITA Regionals three Quakers were victorious in singles action. Mikhail Bekker, Jonathan Boym and Jason Pinsky all won their matches on Saturday to advance to the round of 32 on Sunday.
Bekker, a six seed, defeated Nick Brunner of Cornell in straight sets 6-3, 7-5. Boym who is the 15 seed took down Dartmouth's Ari Gayer in straight sets as well. He won 6-3, 6-1. Pinksy came into the tournament of the Red and Blue's top-seeded player at three. He defeated Eddie Kang of Army 3-6, 6-1, 6-2.
In other singles action Joseph Lok was defeated by Mike Accordin of Clumbia 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.
In doubles action Pinsky and Lok defeated Daniel Brous and Charm Bak of Cornell. Also advancing are Bekker and Boym. They beat Scott Denenberg and Brandon Chiu of Harvard 8-4. Both teams advance to the round of 16 on Sunday.
