Outdoor Performance List

PHILADELPHIA – In a clash of Big 5 programs, the University of Pennsylvania men’s track and field team will join Villanova, La Salle and Temple at the Villanova Outdoor Duals Saturday.

In the first outdoor meet of the season last week, two members of the Red and Blue posted victories and nine Quakers qualified for the postseason. Darryll Oliver won the 800 meters and Michael Cunningham won the 3,000 meters. Oliver reached the IC4A’s with his effort, while the 3,000 meters is not a postseason event. James Foreman, Christopher Baird, Luke Grau, Tim Carey and the 4x100 relay all reached the postseason mark.

In Penn's second outdoor meet last season, the Quakers won seven individual titles and two relay titles at the Navy Invite. Ben McKean (400 meters), Brian Fulton (800 meters), John Carelli (triple jump), and the 4x100 and 4x400-meter relay teams were also winners in their respective events.

A complete recap and results of the meet can be found shortly after its conclusion.
