Bonincontri won the all-around in her first meet as an all-around competitor this season with a score of 38.500. Adding vault to her lineup at the last minute, she still managed a 9.325, in addition to placing first on bars (9.725), second on beam (9.700), and third on floor (9.750) in the meet at Cornell last Saturday.
The freshman did not join the Quakers in meet competition until Feb. 20 after an early season injury kept her out, but since her debut Bonincontri has been a leading force for the young team.
Penn closes out the 2009-10 season this Saturday at the ECAC championships. The meet is slated for noon in Temple's McGonigle Hall.
