PHILADELPHIA--Senior Jordan Brewer earned a spot at the NCAA Regional in Tuscaloosa, Ala. on April 4. She will be competing in the all-around. It is Brewer's first trip to the NCAA Regional. Last season, she was the first alternate to the NCAAs.
Brewer had a standout season leading the team in nearly every event and being a consistent scorer for Penn. She also registered her career bests in three events and the all-around this season. She holds the team's season best score on bars (9.825), three of the top five beam scores and the top four floor scores. In the all around, she registered her career-best with on senior night against Cornell, March 17 with a score of 38.925.
Brewer is the the third Quaker in the last three years to make the NCAA Regional. Junior Lizzie Lowe competed on bars in 2007 while junior Marissa Rosen performed in the all-around in 2007 and 2008.
