PRINCETON, N.J.--Senior Leah Brogan ran a time of 22:15 to finish 18th at the Mid-Atlantic Regional, Saturday in Princeton, N.J. The team finished ninth with 317 points in the 26-team field.
Brogan shaved40 seconds off her time on the same course earlier this season at the Old Nassau Run. Her 18th-place finish makes her an at-large hopeful for the NCAA Championship race in Terre Haute, Ind. The list of competitors for that race will be released Sunday at 7 p.m.
Junior Anna Aagenes finished with Kinjal Parikh in the 24th minute to finish in the top-60. Newcomer Laura Steel was Penn's fourth finisher at 24:27 while Kellee Hand and Charlotte Lawson rounded out the team's scorers at 24:45 and 25:49, respectively.
Freshman Rachel Humphrey also competed, turning in a time of 27:10.
