PHILADELPHIA - Senior midfielder Emily Cochran and senior goalkeeper Karrie Moore of the Penn women's lacrosse team have been named to the North's roster for the annual IWLCA North-South All-Star game, the IWLCA has announced.
The annual all-star game honors the nation's best women's lacrosse seniors.This year'sedition will take place June 10 at 3 p.m. on Homewood Field at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
Both Cochran and Moore wrapped up outstanding careers for the Quakers in 2006, leading Penn to a 10-6 record. Cochran scored 20 goals and had 11 assists and became the ninth Quaker - and first in a decade - to cross the 100-point plateau.
Moore settled into the starting goalie position and had a fantastic second half of the season. She started 10 games between the pipes, posting an 8-3 record. She was also second in League games in goals allowed, letting just 6.68 goals per game get past her.
