Corcoran Named Ivy Offensive Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA -Nina Corcoran earned her first career Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week award on Monday, picking up the honor following a career-best point production day in Penn's 12-11 overtime win over Vanderbilt.

Corcoran set a new career-high in points with six against the Commodores, netting two goals and adding four assists. Her four helpers tied her single-game best for her career. She also added a caused turnover and ground ball.

Corcoran is the second Quaker to earn a weekly honor from the Ivy League this season, joining defender Megan Kelly who was Defensive Player of the Week last week.

The Quakers are in action twice this week. First, Penn heads to Rutgers on Wednesday for a 5 p.m. game. On Saturday, the eight-time defending Ivy League champions open Ancient Eight play at Brown. First draw against the Bears is set for 1 p.m.
