PHILADELPHIA – Not only does the University of Pennsylvania cross country team’s weekend agenda have a trip scheduled to South Bend, but it also includes separate travel plans to Bethlehem. On Friday, 16 members of the men’s and women’s teams will compete in the 58th Annual Notre Dame Invitational, while 17 others will race in the 41st Annual Paul Short Run, presented by Asics, on Saturday.

After its completion, Brendan Smith, Jack Huemmler, Keaton Naff, Thomas Connelly, Patrick Hally, Chris Hatler, and Chris Luciano will represent the Red and Blue in the Men’s Gold Race. The women – Brianna Bradley, Sophie DeBode, Hailey Dougherty, Isabel Griffith, Jillian Kelly, Shannon McCarthy, Karen Xiang -- will then contend in the Brown Race.
