Philadelphia - The 13th annual Mr. and Ms. Penn bodybuilding contest will take place on Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at the Annenberg Theatre (37th and Walnut Streets) on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania.
This year’s show has 28 athletes competing in four different divisions. There will be two women’s divisions (short and tall) and two men’s divisions (short and tall). Mr. and Ms. Penn titles are totally up for grabs as no reigning overall champions return from last year’s show.
There will be a guest poser doing routines throughout the contest and first-time judge Al Bagnoli, Penn’s head football coach, will be on hand.
"The show hasn’t really changed too much during the last 13 years,” Tenisci said. "I think it has become very dynamic and reflective of the quality of students at Penn and the participation across the board from all levels of this educational community is phenomenal. I believe that by viewing this show, you will see the true diversity of the University.”
A truly entertaining evening is in store for spectators of Mr. and Ms. Penn. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased at the Annenberg Theatre. All proceeds go to support the Penn women’s track and field/cross country program.
