Ely, Hsu Still Going Strong on Day Two of William & Mary Invitational

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - On the second day of the William and Mary Invitational, freshman Connie Hsu and junior Alexa Ely continued their strong play, putting themselves in position for championships onSunday.

The duo started the day with an 8-0 stomp over Richmond's team of Elizabeth Sims and Kelly Tidwell in the Flight B semifinals. They will play tomorrow at 9 a.m. againstWinthrop'spair of Sandra Herrera and Giovanna Portiolli.

After the morning victory, Hsu topped the No. 1 seeded Michaela Kissel from Marshall, 6-3, 6-2, in the Flight A singles semifinals. She will take on Harvard's Holly Cao at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow, immediately following her doubles match.
