PHILADELPHIA - After dominating Penn football careers, graduating seniors Sean Estrada and Chris Mizell are each getting a shot at playing pro football.

Estrada, aleft guard, has been invited to the San Francisco 49ers' upcoming mini-camp, while Mizell, a tight end, will signwith the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League.

Estrada, who was a unanimousFirst Team All-Ivy selection last fall, has been invited toa free-agent tryout with the Niners with the possibility of receiving a free-agent contract. The former Penn captain was versatile memberof the Ivy League's best offensive line last year, playing both the leftguard and tacklespots, but the Niners are expected to take a look at him as a center. He led a line that allowed just 10 sacks (10th-best in the nation) and helped a 1,000-yard rusher in Joe Sandberg.

Mizell, also a unanimous First-Team All-Ivy honoree, will take his game north of the border with the Alouettes. A complete tight end, Mizell's blocking skill was augmented by his receiving ability as he was third on the team with 29.2 yards per game on 31 total catches. The CFL schedule runs during the summer, with the Alouettes' first preseason game on June 9 at Toronto.

Penn recently completed spring practices and will begin its season on Sept. 15 against Lafayette at Franklin Field.
