Feigenbaum Named CSFL Defensive Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA – Junior defensive back J. Andrew Feigenbaum was named Defensive Player of the Week by the Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) for week 2.

Feigenbaum spearheaded a defense that held defending CSFL champion Cornell to 23 points in a 23-18 loss. Feigenbaum ended the day with 11 tackles, including eight solo stops. The eight individual tackles are a career best. Feigenbaum is coming off a season where he was third on the team with 35 tackles and was named First-Team All-CSFL. In 2005, Feignebaum again was third on the team in tackles with 42 and was named Honorable mention All-CSFL.

Feigenbaum and the rest of the Penn sprint football team have the week off as they prepare for their home opener against Princeton on Friday, September 28 at 7 p.m.
