A forward, Junior Andrew Ferry scored two goals in the first 30 minutes of a 4-0 win over PS7 rival Saint Joseph’s, Saturday. The hard-working forward had been leading the team in shots, but until the game had only registered one goal. Ferry beat the keeper after taking a feed from Alex Grendi for his first tally. On his second, with chaos in front of the net, he reacted quickly to change directions and stand up on the ball before driving it to the back of the net.
Ferry now co-leads the team (with Grendi) in points (7). He and the Quakers (2-4-2) open Ivy League action on the road, Saturday at Columbia. The match is set for 7 p.m.
