Field Hockey Announces Class of 2014

PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania's head field hockey coach, Colleen Quinn Fink, has announced her incoming student-athletes for the 2010 season. Seven players will join the Penn field hockey roster this fall as freshmen.

"The incoming freshmen are looking forward to their careers at Penn, both on and off the field," said Fink, who was hired from Haverford College in April and will coach her first season with the Quakers this fall. "They chose Penn for many reasons and are eager to become a part of the Penn Field Hockey family. Given their previous athletic and academic achievements, I am excited about the role the Class of 2014 will play in defining University of Pennsylvania Field Hockey."

Of particular note, Penn's incoming field hockey class features two women whose older sisters have been involved in the program. Julie Tahan will following the footsteps of her older sister, Kelsey, who graduated in May and was one of the Quakers' captains as well as their scoring co-leader last fall. Olivia Olt, meanwhile, is the younger sister of Caroline Olt who will be a junior on this year's squad.
