Elizabeth Koch had an unasssisted goal at the 16:38 mark, then more than 16 minutes passed before the Dragons scored once more before halftime when Ashley Santee netted a deflection off a short corner. Kim Tunell was credited with an assist.

In the second half, Drexel got goals at the 49:26 mark (Christina Mastropaolo from Fleischut), another one just over two minutes later (Fleischut unassisted), and then its seventh and final goal just three minutes after that (Mariel Marinelli unassisted).

Penn (1-10) had four shots on the night, two of them on goal from Annie Matthews and Kirstin Snyder. At the other end, Rothman had 16 saves as Drexel pounded the Penn goal with 38 shots.
