Finck Named ECAC Rookie of the Week for Gymnastics

Freshman Megan Finck was recognized for the fourth time this year, after being named ECAC Rookie of the Week for her performance on the road versus West Virginia and Cornell. Finck matched her career high she set earlier this season on floor, with a 9.875, helping lead Penn to its highest team total of the season in the event, 49.100. For their performances against New Hampshire, freshman Megan Finck earned the ECAC Co-Rookie of the week honor and junior Morgan Venuti was named Co-Coaches Choice. Finck competed on three events for the Quakers, highlighted by a 9.725 on floor. Venuti posted a career-high 9.775 on vault, while also putting together a 9.750 on bars. Freshman Emily Shugan was recognized as the ECAC Co-Rookie of the Week after her bars and beam performances in Penn's Ivy Classic victory.
