PHILADELPHIA - Senior Jennifer Fleischer and junior Joey Rhoads have been named Honorable Mention All-Ivy, League officials announced Thursday.
Fleischer averaged 8.4 points per game and 9.7 rebounds per game, leading the team in the latter category. Her 48 blocks represented more than all of her teammates combined, and she shot 41 percent from the floor this season. It is the second Ivy honor for Fleischer,as shewas a second team selection in 2003-04.
Rhoads was an offensive machine for the Quakers, leading Penn with 13.7 points per game. She ranked among the national leaders in free throw percentage, making 87.5 percent of her charity stripe appearances, and dished out 91 assists. The point guard was also Penn's leading outside shooter, going 47-for-144 from beyond the three-point arc. It is the first All-Ivy honor for Rhoads, although she was a unanimous selection to the League's all-rookie team in 2003-04.
