PHILADELPHIA - Two more new faces will join the University of Pennsylvania football team in 2015 as head coach Ray Priore announced the addition of transfers Colton Moskal and Will Fischer-Colbrie on Wednesday.
"We are very lucky to add both Colton and Will to our program," Priore said. "They are a great fit for the Ivy League. Not only are they exceptional players, but their coaches have lauded their character, leadership and off-the-field intangibles that will make them successful here at Penn, and well after graduation."
Moskal and Fischer-Colbrie are each eligible to play this upcoming season. Moskal was a member of the Syracuse University football team last year, while Fischer-Colbrie spent the 2014 season with the Colorado Buffaloes. Both were freshmen last season and did not play in any games.
Moskal is listed as a 6-foot, 225-pound linebacker, and was all-state, all-area and all-conference as well as a three-year team captain for Lake Zurich High School in Illinois.
A native of Los Altos, Calif., Fischer-Colbriewas a standout quarterback and team captain for Mountain View and Saint Francis High Schools.
Moskal, Fischer-Colbrie and the Quakers will begin preseason practice in late August. The Red and Blue open the season at Lehigh on Sept. 19.
