PHILADELPHIA - In addition to three nationally televised games on the NBC Sports Network, the University of Pennsylvania football team added two more TV games on Friday. Penn also announced the Penn Sports Network (PSN) schedule will broadcast four other games worldwide - in HD - and provide audio for all 10 games along with radio partners WNTP 990AM and WFIL 560 AM.
Each of Penn's first three games will be televised. The season opener at Lafayette will be shown locally on RCN and the Lafayette Sports Network (LSN) at 6 p.m. A week later, Comcast will be at Franklin Field to air the Schuylkill Showdown against cross-city rival Villanova at 3:30 p.m.
As announced earlier this summer, Penn's 2012 Ivy opener at Dartmouth will mark the first of three national television appearances for the Red and Blue. The NBC Sports Network will also show the Quakers at Yale on Oct. 20 and against Harvard at Franklin Field on Nov. 10. All three games will kick off at noon.
The Penn Sports Network (PSN) will exclusively broadcast three home games worldwide - William & Mary (Oct. 6) on Family Weekend, the Ivy home opener against Columbia (Oct. 13) and the Homecoming game against Brown (Oct. 27). The matchup with Villanova will be available on PSN for those outside of the Comcast area.
