Football on SIRIUS Satellite Radio Three Times in 2010

PHILADELPHIA - Starting this weekend, the defending Ivy champion University of Pennsylvania football team will be featured on national radio as the Ivy League Game of the Week on three occassions this season. The Ivy League announced on Monday that it will once again team up with SIRIUS satellite radio for Game of the Week broadcasts.

This will be the sixth straight season that SIRIUS and the Ivy League have teamed up. The 2010 Ivy League Game of the Week schedule begins with the Quakers hosting Lafayette in the season and home opener for the Red and Blue on Saturday at 7 p.m. The broadcast will air on SIRIUS Channel 130 nationally and locally on WNTP 990 AM.

The Red and Blue can also be heard on SIRIUS Saturday, Oct. 16 when they play host to Columbia at Noon on Family Weekend and on Nov. 6, when they travel to Princeton to take on the Tigers at 3 p.m. The game with arch rival Princeton will also be featured on national television on the VERSUS network.

Below is the complete SIRIUS Ivy League schedule for the 2010 season. All games are tentatively scheduled to be heard live on SIRIUS Channel 130, but the channel lineup is subject to change for selected games.
