PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania has announced game times and TVdates for the 2007 football season. The slate will be highlighted byfour televised games, includingtwo on CN8, one on RCN4 and a national appearance on the YES Network.
Penn starts the season with two televised primetime games, opening at home with Lafayette (Sept. 15, 6 p.m.) before renewing the city rivalryat Villanova on (Sept. 22, 6 p.m.). The Lafayette game will be shownon RCN4 and simulcast on WBPH-60 and Fox SportsNet Pittsburgh, while CN8 will carry the Villanova match-up.
The Ivy League opener takes place at Dartmouth (Sept. 29, 12:30 p.m.) before Penn hosts Georgetown (Oct. 6, 1 p.m.) for the first time since 1937.
The Quakersvisit Columbia (Oct. 13, 1:30 p.m.), then host defending Ivy League co-champion Yale (Oct. 20, Noon) on Homecoming. The Yale game will be broadcast on YES, which is available on digital cable systems in the New England and Mid-Atlantic areas, as well as nationally on DirecTV.
A trip to Brown (Oct. 27, 12:30 p.m.)will end the month of October. The Quakers host Ivy League co-champion Princeton (Nov. 3, Noon) on Family Weekend. The 99th edition of the rivalry will be broadcast on CN8.
Penn will make its final road trip of the year to Harvard (Nov. 10, 12:30 p.m.) before finishing the season in the 114th meeting for the Trustees' Cup against Cornell (Nov. 17, 1 p.m.).
