Football to "Toast" its Fans at Season Opener

Toast Toss in SiriusXM's Traditions Tournament | Order Tickets Today

PHILADELPHIA - This summer, Penn Football fans rallied behind its storied tradition of throwing toast at the conclusion of "Drink A Highball" in between the third and fourth quarters, voting the "Toast Toss" all the way to the semifinals of SiriusXM's College Sports Nation Traditions Tournament.

In recognition of Quaker Nation's loyal support, the first 3,000 fans to enter Franklin Field for Saturday's 2013 opener against Lafayette (6 p.m.) will receive a unique gift -- specially-designed foam toast!

Featuring Penn Athletics' new hashtag of #FightOnPenn, the foam version of every Quaker fan's favorite throwing object allows fans to proudly display their Penn Pride as the defending Ivy League champions take the field for the first time in 2013.
