Former Chief Clerk of Penn Relays, Herman Mancini Passes Away

PHILADELPHIA--Former chief clerk of the Penn Relays, Herman Mancini, died Sunday in Coral Springs, Fla., at the age of 94 after a prolonged illness.

Mancini attended more than 65 Penn Relays in his 94 years and served 19 years as assistant clerk before serving as chief clerk from 1966-1998. He was named chief clerk emeritus after his 1998 retirement.
