PHILADELPHIA - Four members of the Penn women's soccer team have been tabbed as All-Ivy selections, the League office has announced. Sophomore midfielder Natalie Capuano has been named First Team All-Ivy while sophomore defender Nicki White, freshman forward Jessica Fuccello,and freshman midfielder Jess Rothenheber were named to the second team.
Capuano, who was Second Team All-Ivy last year, earns a first-team nod after being a key component to Penn's midfield. The sophomore captain scored a goal and had an assist.
Whitescoredone goal while starting 14 games for the Quakers on defense. She was part of a backline that helped hold opponents to just 14 goals this season.
Fuccello enjoyed a dominant freshman campaign, leading the team with 23 points on nine goals and five assists. She was second in the Ivy League in both points and scoring, and was fourth in assists.
Rothenheber scored two goals and had two assists during the season. Both of the freshman's goals were gamewinners.
