Four Penn Basketball Games to be Televised

PHILADELPHIA – The Ivy League has announced a 13-game television package for the 2015-16 basketball seasons on FOX Sports 1 and American Sports Network -- 11 men’s games, two women’s games -- and the University of Pennsylvania will be a part of four of those matchups as the men make three television appearances and the women make one.

FOX Sports 1 (FS1) will be there when Penn’s new John R. Rockwell Head Coach of Men’s Basketball, Steve Donahue, coaches his first game against archrival Princeton in The Palestra on Saturday, Jan. 9 at 4:30 p.m. That is the first of three regular-season matchups that FS1 will air, and the network is also slated to provide live coverage of the League’s one-game men’s basketball playoff, if necessary, on Saturday, March 12. All games on FS1 also will be available on FOX Sports Go.

American Sports Network (ASN) is back showcasing Ancient Eight hoops once again this season, with eight men’s games and two women’s games. Both Penn teams will have games on ASN, as the men’s game at Brown will air live on Saturday, Jan. 30 at 8 p.m.; the men's game at home with Dartmouth will air live on Friday, Feb. 5 at 6 p.m.; and the women’s game at Columbia will be televised live on Sunday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. All games on American Sports Network will also be streamed live on The Ivy League Digital Network (ILDN).
