The final race of the fall season allows the newcomers a chance to make a lasting impression on the coaching staff at the Rutgers Fall Classic on Saturday afternoon on the Raritan River in New Brunswick, N.J.

The 2.5-mile head race is only for novice crews, and the final standings are based on combined scores of the two boats chosen to count in the standings. Overall, the heavyweights will be sending three eights to the race.
