PHILADELPHIA--Penn men’s soccer head coach Rudy Fuller was once again asked to assist at the U.S. Under-15 Boy’s National team camp. Head coach Jim Barlow (also head coach at Princeton) called Fuller and 48 players to a week-long training camp at the PDA training facilities in Zarephath, N.J.
Fuller has been involved in the Region I Olympic Development Program and became a scout for U.S. Soccer’s development academy last year. This is his third stint coaching at a U.S. National U-15 camp.
Adding significance this time around is the presence of the U-17 national team coaches whose U-17 camp is also being held this week. The coaches will have the opportunity to evaluate the group for the next cycle of U.S. Soccer’s residency program. All players at the camp are also eligible to participate in the 2011 U-17 World Cup.
