DURHAM, N.H. – On the road Saturday evening, the University of Pennsylvania gymnastics team was outpaced by New Hampshire, 195.475-192.775.
Saturday against the Wildcats, Penn posted an event high score of 48.600 on bars, followed by a 48.400 on floor, 48.075 on vault, and 47.700 on beam.
The Quakers were led by junior Morgan Venuti, who scored a career-high 9.775 on vault, leading the Quakers, while also scoring a 9.750 on bars.
On bars Penn was led by junior Elyse Shenberger, with a 9.800, followed by freshman Emily Shugan with a 9.775, and Venuti.
Junior Amber Hu led the Red and Blue on beam, scoring a 9.775, for the second consecutive weekend.
On floor, senior Kaitlyn Reszkowski and Elyse Shenberger finished their routines with a 9.775 score to lead Penn. Freshman Megan Finck recorded a 9.725.
The Quakers have one more road meet before the ECAC championships, when they travel to West Virginia to take on the Mountaineers and Cornell, next Saturday at 4 p.m.
