Gymnastics Falls to Towson, 192.500 - 186.475

PHILADELPHIA - Towson took the top spot in three individual events on its way to a 192.500 - 186.475 win over Penn on Saturday. Marissa Rosen had Penn's lone win on the day, winning the bars with a score of 9.775.

Towson's Christina Ghani took the top spot in two events - floor (9.825) and vault (9.825). Her all-around total of 9.825 was also tops amongst all competitors. Jackie Schweitzer scored a 9.800 on the beam to claim first place in that event.

Along with her high score on the bars, Rosen was the Quakers' leading scorer on the beam (9.475) and floor (9.650).

Jordan Brewer continued her solid vaulting, leading the Red and Blue with a 9.550. She also set a personal best with a 9.425 on the bars.

Penn is back in action next Saturday when the Red and Blue travel to New Haven, Conn. to face Yale at 1 pm.
